I voted not crap on accident. The most talked about sequence in the movie is some Cirque du Soleil theme park shit, the soundtrack is corny, omnipresent and overbearing, it's way too long, this film gets a pass based on its allegory and themes alone. Really felt like a theme park come to life. Between this and The Substance I definitely cannot trust any form of current hype anymore. The fact that I agree with someone about (insert issue) doesn't mean automatically that the art that comes attached to it is any good. This no longer seems to be an obvious point.

I don't know, I only made it through about 15 minutes of Black Panther. Most superhero movies are trash anyway for what it's worth, but you should be able to critique art and not feel like a bad person for being unable to enjoy it. I realize there's a lot more nuance than I'm exploring here but whatever.
