Sorry, no clue as to how to attract more viewers but I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve seen so far on your channel. Maybe do a video documenting the process of building an aluminium neck? The dimensioning, milling etc, real nerdy shit - I’d definitely watch that and I can’t see any other videos on YouTube showing how it’s done.

So, ideas about how to move this from something a couple people watch to something anyone gives a shit about?
The algorithm is a pain in the balls, and I still struggle with getting videos to cut through that should be attracting far more views than they get.
If you don't want to go the custom thumbnail route (time consuming!) then just keep the title and first few lines of video description informative...make sure you drop in keywords you'd want a search to hit on. A few tags will help too, but less so than the title/description. There's "research" tabs in YouTube Studio that will let you look at trends and the like, but personally, I've never got much out of them.
Generally, far fewer people search nowadays. Most rely on suggestions and "up next" stuff. That makes getting started a bit of a drag. Beg friends for subs! Drop links/videos in appropriate threads (or start your own) at places like *grak* The GearPage!...I'm not proud...I've gone there.
Good luck. If it helps, you've got a new subscriber.

Video #7 - time lapse of sanding and polishing. More interviews are scheduled and forthcoming...just hard to organize for the past few weeks.

Just posted an interview with our own Neal Markowski
This weekend I'll be with chatting Garret Riley, a local builder who also runs a repair shop.
Next weekend I'll be hanging out with my pals on the Billy Idol crew before their Seattle show.

I have, stupidly, not been paying attention to this thread up until now. Am currently rectifying this.

Chris - if you're in southern California ever stop here at Taylor, at the very least you might get something out of our machine shop
