13Any of the million metal bands whose singer is essentially making the sound of shouting without actually shouting - CF already mentioned Meshuggah, and they are probably the Typhoid Mary of this, but it's become endemic to whole genres of music that I would otherwise seriously be into. I guess the fashion is driven by people who have nothing to offer musically but want to be in a band anyway, and by fans who can 'sing' along by doing that dumb belch-talking sound. Michael Winslow-ass vocals.

20First band I thought of. His vocals may have sucked, but at least he had no stage presence either.
I don't really have a problem with Al Cisneros' vocals, but I'd gladly buy an instrumental version of Dopesmoker.
