I have no doubt that this woman possesses an uncountable number of mitigating qualities.
But if she can't and wants to save some for later, why wouldn't she just slice the thing up w/a knife and put the pieces in a refrigerated container or something?
This is the only acceptable answer. L and I usually split an apple in the morning, cut in pieces. if some doesn't get eaten, in an old sourcream container it goes, usually for an afternoon snack.
Barbarism Lex, Barbarism.
(it hurts my teeth to eat an apple whole, so the slicing is the way)

This is just the bun cunt thread all over again.
Precisely. Lex saw the bun cunt thread way back when and I have been telling her that I would throw her and her apple-ruining ways under the prf bus if she did not engage with reform. So here we are. She has been doing this for years….

When I hear "a better world is possible" I will think of a world where specifically this does not happen.
Slice it up and put it in a bag! You're gonna get worms this way.

BTW, how long does it take her to finish an apple?
I shall post updates - but at the moment is it one bite per day, and they are small bites....

I'm sure that Lex is the loveliest person outside of browning apples and refrigerating cooties, lovely cooties mind you! Do y'all also keep yall's banana in bunches so that they brown easily? Do you put other foods uncovered in the fridge? How many crimes against food safety and aesthetics are being committed at yr hizzy?
Everything else is relatively fastidious. I mean I get into trouble for tearing cling-film haphazardly. It is just this one peculiar thing with apples. Only apples.

One of my songs is called The Ruiner. In this case it would apply to Lex. Sorry Lex.
Mrs MSE does this with bagels.
She eats them one tiny bit at a time and leaves them uncovered in the fridge? Seriously?! These two should meet....

My wife does something similar-ish and will make a to-go coffee last a day or two in the fridge. I have to admit that I often throw them away out of concern. She’ll also order a margarita or whatever and take a few sips - not sure I’ve ever actually seen her finish a drink at dinner ever. We do not have the same relationship to alcohol.

Unconscionable. If she can't eat a whole apple she should cut it into quarters and put the uneaten ones in a tupperware box or something.

Once you’ve broken through the peel of an apple, the clock is ticking and it must be consumed or processed.
