I have no strong opinion on TC the actor, but after hearing Trixie Mattel say his name using the Nell accent as "tim uh tay chal a may inda weeyund", this is his new Homeric epithet in my head.

As a personality, he's kind of irritating.

I'm unqualified otherwise. I remember him a little in Little Women and Lady Bird, was fine. Not probably gonna watch him pretend to be Dylan.

I'm not a movie guy, and could give a shit about whichever actor generally. Watched the Dylan thing on a flight back from PDX in May. Definitely a telling of the early years story with as little artistic license as possible. (as a Dylan fan would recommend)

I think Dicaprio was good off the starting block. This Boy's Life. Basketball Diaries. Gilbert Grape. All by the age of 20. The heartthrob thing came later with Romeo and Juliet, and Titanic.

Good in that last film I saw by a Safdie brother. Like, really good. He's fine in the Dune films.

He was fine in the Dylan film, too.

I bet he's a fucking weirdo in real life. I'll never know!

I love that he went to LaGuardia* where he dated Madonna's daughter (hilarious) and later when he got famous he rolled up to the Met Gala on foot.
A city kid. Respect.

*This is the NYC public HS for visual/performing arts that 'Fame' was based on (kinda).

I thought he was pretty good in the Dylan movie, and really good in Marty Supreme. Won't be surprised if this is his year for Best Actor.
