Wow, I didn't think that was bad at all. Agreed that the vocals are too hot, but with a decent recording these guys would really have it going on.
Is it a joke? He is the Rock, and We Will Roll You! That's good. They have a sort of 60s garage psychedelia sound. Nice!
These guys might be The Upper Crust of Christian rock. Well done.

Why is Christian rock universally bad? Theoretically, isn't it at least possible that somebody could make rock and roll music to glorify Christ and not have it suck shitty butthole? Like, theoretically?
The only things that come to mind are His Name is Alive and Tri-Danielson. The first are committed Christians, but, despite the name, I almost never hear it coming out in the music. The second, I'm not familiar with. Does the Christianity come out in the music? Is the music rock and roll? Is the music good? If yes, why are they the only ones?
I can't help the fact that I sort of like Starflyer 59....

I like Belle and Sebastian too, although they don't sing about God as much - but it does come out in 2/5 songs.

I don't think that link really answered the question very well. Mormons are Christians.
