The 4Runner is a silly alternative, it's like a totally different type of vehicle. May I suggest two more reasonable alternatives:

'70s Toyota Land Crusier
International Travelall

You know what, screw the Land Cruiser, the Travelall is where its at. Brad, you should get a Travelall. As an added bonus, the name is fun to type. Travelall. If I may direct you to a promotional item featuring the International Travelall:

yes

i agree w/josh

i like some of the old willys jeeps, but these cherokees and wagoneers and so forth, i don't like them

they are shoddily made and are bourgeois vehicles (i say this as the driver of a subaru forester....)

the int'l travelall, she is a fine vehicle!!!!!

As a young boy, my parents would let me pull the Wagoneer up from the garage to the driveway alongside the house, even though my 12-year-old ass could barely see over the steering wheel of that beast. I would warm it up on cold winter mornings before school, which required a solid twenty minutes.

My father named it Nimba, the white elephant. The elephant was trustyworthy on the most frigid and snow-laden of Appalachian days! Dreadfully slow, invincible, gas-guzzling and hideous... is the Grand Wagoneer the Peavey of sport utililty vehicles?
