So, is Milton Keynes the ONLY place the Oxes are playing in the UK? ROCK AND ROLL! Word on the street is that "MK" is the new Welwyn Garden City, and that's bitchin'!
Are they playing anywhere else? Slough? Reigate? Aldershot? I'd really quite like to see them live...

I've seen several British bands, including That Fucking Tank and Kill Yourself, and even just out of those I think Kill Yourself are better, because they sound more like Rage Against the Machine.

I've seen several British bands too.
This is totally absurd and sounds like something from the pages of the hateful NME but just for the funning, who - all of yers - would you nominate for the rather dubious honour of currently being 'The Best Band in Britain'?
I will think about this for a while.

I don't live on your tiny island but I will agree with this statement.

Cardiacs.
The vast majority of left-field type rock bands are just pathetic immitations of US bands.
Cardiacs sound like nobody though and are quite capable of bring the rock.

Yessir. Dark Hadou and Evil Ryu? If these two bands played in my area, I'd show up on the merit of their names alone.

The new record disqualifies them, surely?

Guapo are an excellent band, very good choice. The Cardiacs too have always ploughed their own furrow, a little whimiscal for me maybe but all power to them, another fine choice but I feel reluctant to go with either one.
I like The Fall, I like Hunting Lodge but it's not them either.
BP...this is very encouraging..Hex is great and I thought Codename: Dustsucker was a fine record. But I'm not going to give it to Mr Sutton.
Pondering on...
