If a band named themselves "Das Love Boat" and released a record titled "Wasabi Bravado", they would be my favorite band.

I was in a Kraut-rock/Hip Hop band called "Das Booty Call". Does that count?

Okay, I'm calling a moratorium on (un)funny band name posts!

I am proud to say that MX-80 has been one of my favorite bands since 1980 where I was introduced to them through my duties as music director of my college radio station. Their stuff never gets old with me.

Maybe it's just the vocals, but this band kinda reminds me of the Hampton Grease Band.

Somebody at MTV must have been into this band because their original theme song sounds suspiciously like the riff in "Tidal Wave."

So not crap, jeez, why ask? Bruce Anderson could / can play anything, truly an inspiration.

Original drumbo Dave Mahoney died in April, he had a nice skitery feel to the traps, he may have been drumming when I saw them in 1982, RIP.
