My rota has me down for two less shifts that I agreed to.

Those shifts were boxing day and new years day, so I have over two weeks off for christmas this year, aside from having to work christmas eve.

I'm forecasting heavy Mario Galaxy and Stout.

Well, i just got yelled at saturday morning from the executive director of the station i work at. ( i am off sat.)

"What is it with the music on channel 18?" he asks on my cell.

I think to myself...i dunno. So i drive all the way to work to check the audio.

It's Christmas music, Fucking christmas music that this asshole asked me to implement after Thanksgiving. I have e-mails to prove it, not only from him but the other two managers CC'ing me from the original e-mail.

Fuck you boss, fuck you christmas for ruining my pleasant saturday of getting drunk and doing nothing!

The only time of year when I get to stand on desks at work for an afternoon, being tall and able to hang decorations. This year also seems to be bringing umpteen different works Christmas dinners to bear upon me. I've honestly lost track. I'll gladly attend them all but I am not looking forward to the bills.
