I'm not positive how many shows this is for, or if this is true or not, but on the Whirlyball Atlanta website
http://www.whirlyballatlanta.com/, it says:
"Come and celebrate the fourth and final night of the Chunklet Magazine 13th Anniversary Celebration Blowout with the Melvins (with special guest David Yow from the Jesus Lizard), Harvey Milk and Big Business."
Does anyone have any other information regarding David Yow playing with them? This is excellent if it's true!

Well, Buzz confirmed that David's going to be playing with them at LEAST one time. He wouldn't elaborate and that show's the only one that has his name on the bill. Regardless...if you have a chance...go see this show. You will be blown away.

It's a shame it's an age 21+ show though. If my the situation requires doing so, I'll go as far as gunpoint to get in.
Of course, that won't be my first choice.
I would imagine Yow would be doing at least a few other dates, with living in L.A. now (I think?), so it wouldn't make much geographical sense for him to play only one show in Atlanta.

Yeah, Yow's played with them before and probably will again, but seeing them as part of the Chunklet anniversary would be pretty epic. Sadly there is no way I can get down there and back to DC in time for another obligation.
Damn.

Hmm...Yow on an East Coast date? I hope this means he'll be in NYC.

Yes the new album is the best in years... I'd put it up there with Any of their best (Stoner Witch, Maggot, Hoodini)
