104Mario Kart WII online is addictive as hell, even though I suck at it. We had a family gathering in Detroit this weekend and wound up playing American Idol karioke. I never thought I'd find myself belting out "My Cherie Amour" in a room full of people, but, there ya go.
The WII is the perfect system for 10 minute at a time dicking around, even with software as douchebaggie as karioke or American Idol.
Second the Not Crap for Williams pinball. For a $30 game, I play the fuck out of that game.

105NOT CRAP, but pretty overrated. Like the other post-SNES Nintendo systems, the Wii will primarily be sustained by first-party games. I like Nintendo's first-party stuff fine and grew up playing it, but I'm not as into it as other nerds my age. Like the DS, the Wii is getting hit with a glut of crap games aimed at people for whom it is an introduction (or reintroduction) to video games. That isn't good.
That said, I'm currently enjoying The House of the Dead 2 and 3 Return and No More Heroes a lot. I am looking forward to Madworld and the new Grasshopper-developed Fatal Frame.

I always thought first-person aiming with a control stick was stupid, and the Wii has confirmed this. I can't even imagine playing RE4 without the Wiimote.
