Pre master volume Silverface Super Reverb. Mick Turner played a Super at some point, which got me interested. Got it for cheap in Austin because there are a million of them there. I played it next to a twin and a pro reverb and it totally blew both of them away, no contest.

On paper its the best amp ever.

40W
4 X 10
Reverb, Vibrato

Mines fucked up though. Speaker's blown. Needs new tubes. Cleanest sounding amp ever. Hard to get a good distorted sound out of it, even with my MXR and Pickup Booster.

Fixed my Hiwatt Lead 100 today. A simple case of replacing the master volume potentiometer. Just like magic, the whooshing and miscellaneous noises are no more! It is now silent until I wail through it and remains silent afterwards.

I am now going to replace every pot in my HH VS Musician 100 head. I have also ordered replacement pots and knobs for my HH 100W combo.

She is satisfying, these successful repairings of di amplificatori. Satisfying.

just brought the Ampeg Reverberocket home the other day for use as our home amp. The YGM-3 wants to be a little too loud . Found out the Ampeg runs the 7951A's in Class A, and is cathode biased! It was the first or second amp I ever worked on (my first cap job) so I didn't even know what a cathode was.

It's great for apartment volume, my favorite reverb (none of the slappy plinky sound I associate with Fender) and it breaks up or stays clean or whatever you need. Pretty quiet. Original Jensen, I think. Blue sticker on it. The vibrato is very understated, but usable.

I have the original 7591's, which are the Ampeg-branded Sylvanias, but I've been running it on a pair of EH 7591's. They work.

1965 Ampeg Reverberocket R-12-R-B, I found you in the trash, gave you a cap job, and you sound so nice in my home. Salut!
