This forum neglects to mention that this was one of the first of Orion Pax's public gigs. the lead singer was really nervous and actually meant to compliment the other bands, but it came out all wrong. Once he realized it, he tried to track down the other bands and apologize. I know that he talked to some of the members of KingHen and let them know he felt really bad about what he said.
He even tried to talk to you guys, but was only able to get out how good he thought you did before you walked off.

You are totally welcome to your opinions about their music (it may suck), but I know they really enjoyed your music and didn't mean to insult anyone.

I was wondering how long it would take for someone either in or associated with Orion Pax to google their name and find this thread.

I can't add anything to this to make it funnier than it already is.

Oh, and wooo-cheee-bee Mount Fucking Prospect. I was there once. For 17 formative years. Had I known that's all it takes to play the Bottle, I never would have said my band was from Chicago. Let's all go hang out at Randhurst! Is PJ's Trick Shop still there?

Like, all the time? On dates and stuff?

You should have just told them you were a Pantera cover band. Now THAT gets you places.

Whatever man, he insulted the other bands because he thinks he's hot shit then rethought it later and decided maybe he isn't such hot shit after all and decided to backpedal....he should just stick with being an arrogant smirking prick. At least it's something.
It doesn't matter anyway because if I play my cards right in life, me and Orion Pax will never even come close to crossing paths again so fuck it, whatever.

well, you can think what you like, but it isn't true. I mean, come on, the guy was so nervous he had to close his eyes most of the time to not be spooked by the audience.

well, I'm sorry you guys met on bad circumstances, but I know that no one in Orion Pax meant any disrespect. The Lead singer made a mistake, he's sorry about it, you can accept that or not.

Sorry to hear you were so nervous at the show. Next time, imagine them all in their underwear. I hear that works.

I have heard that too, although I wonder if the result could be even more disastrous, if there was an attractive girl nearby, or worse, a out-of-shape, hairy guy.

Fell right into my trap, he did.

I hear it also works to close your eyes and imagine you were in a good band
