The exercise advice is only for those who have yet to try it and are not really ill or depressed. I'm fairly sure exercise can't replace medical treatment or drugs that do work for those that really need help. It's similar to the Scientologist that advises you to dump the medication and start taking 'vitamins.'

I'm wondering if we will look back on this time period and wonder about the wisdom of Doctors prescribing all these drugs before the science was 'in' so to speak.

Well it takes these medications about 2 weeks to get into your system.
