108My current girlfriend is a nut. She's great, funny, attractive, yeah yeah.
She comes with immense baggage, so much so I'm waiting for her to crumple. She still sees her ex-boyfriend on their bowling team and at work. So much of her life is tied up with seedy, redneck, bartending fuckwads I sometimes wish I had a baseball bat that I liked less than the one I have so I wouldn't mind it getting broken and bloody.
I'm crazy about her, she's crazy about me.
It's the reactions sexually attracted creatures have with one another. The overwhelming hormones, emotions, tendencies, etcetera. It never changes, it never gets any better, unless you happen to luck out and find someone who is in tune with your moods/deposition, but even then it is a crapshoot. I've seen people who have been together for dozens of years bust it up once their kids move out, and other cases of course.
Trying to understand interpersonal relationships as a person who caters to the whims of being human is an insane notion. Show strength but also compassion. That's pretty much the ticket.
