Sir Mix-a-lot. I'm not sure if he supports Republic policies across the boards (or even at all anymore given the turn of events since 2000), but he definitely takes a Republican stance on the gun control issue on tracks like "No Holds Barred". He also characterized liberals as subconcious purveyors of prejudice on some track for a movie sountrack.
