PSU for a Tascam 414. (not very exciting, I know.)Waiting to see if it is actually a 4-track cassette recorder, or just a very large overdrive / mic preamp.

The contrarian in me rolls his eyes, but it can't be denied that a Jazzmaster with some non-Japanese pickups and a Mastery bridge is a dang treat.

Yesterday I picked up a extremely clean Silvertone 1483 head, remarkable condition for something fifty five goddamn years old. Got it for an extremely reasonable price from a professional musician up in the hills who was culling his amp collection. I'm really excited - I love my 1484, I feel a strong personal connection to its whole vibe and its interaction with my weird guitar, and now I don't have to worry about it blowing up.

Friend of mine has an ms-50g and I'm super skeptical anything zoom does in the effects dept is worth a crap. The prices on the pedals in this series are jaw-dropping.I love Zoom stuff. I used to scoff at them but I now have a ton of pedals and recorders.
