I really wish they'd stop doing that.https://youtu.be/1tzFRIQfwXgWhy do they make the trailer just a 2 minute edit of the essentials of the movie, minus the end?I don't just mean this movie, but I think every trailer for the last 20 years has done this, especially with horror.I hope that there's enough depth to the film that it has some surprises even with all this exposition. It seems so obviously spelled out that I think our first impressions may be intentionally misled. I hope. I do believe in Jordan Peele. I do believe in Jordan Peele. I do believe in Jordan Peele...Ever since watching the trailer for Insidious, and ultimately enjoying the movie, I don't trust trailers--especially horror trailers. tommy wrote:JigsawWhy do this to yourself???

Some recent watches:Jigsaw: If NCIS and SVU did a Saw sequel. Awful. Just awful.Sleepaway Camp: I hadn't seen this since I was a kid. Really enjoyed it. Terrible acting and WTF dialog abound, but looks substantially visually better than Friday 13th. The plot premise is VERY problematic but has one of the most unsettling ending shots of early 80s horror.Krampus Origins: Sooooooo poorly acted I didn't make it past the 30 min mark. Not terrible enough to come back around to being entertaining. The Devil's Doorway: So bored I didn't make it past the 30 min mark. It should be noted that I'm usually the kind of guy that HAS to finish shit, no matter how bad. Either things are getting worse or my threshold has changed.Down a Dark Hall: So unmemorable I literally can't remember how it ended. Not even kidding. Did I finish it? Was I drunk? Who knows?

Terrifier!Hated it, sorry. It did literally look like it was going to be very bad from the actual first minute.Saw this a couple nights ago and hated it as well. I love brutal nasty horror films bit at least try to say something or have a decent story or some compelling visuals. The gore effects were pretty good but the rest was garbage.

I really enjoyed Terrifier. Usually don't go for those types of movies, but I was entertained just sitting back and watching to see how far it would go -- I was not displeased. I also really dug the clown. I was down with that fucked-up clown. Good acting. Great make-up. Mildy interested in checking-out All Hallow's Eve, an earlier anthology where the clown got his start. The Travel Channel will be featuring the new Ripley's Believe It Or Not reboot hosted by Bruce Campbell. Into it.
