I love Busta Chimes

This band is fun IMO but I don’t understand their meteoric rise. Maybe it’s the costumes? Like I’m surprised how many people like what I would consider to have pretty niche appeal. I wish Secret Chiefs 3 got this kind of attention, I mean they have costumes and microtonal instruments too!

I imagine my dad pointing at Angel Of Poutine from his post in the afterlife and saying “See? I told you!”
I think he was on to something. Everyone remembers GWAR, no-one remembers GWERE

For like 10-15 minutes, then it was like... time to go get a beer.

Clicked the tab at 10 am and was notified that I would have about a 4 minute wait, but the pre-sale had sold out by the time I got in. Hoping for a better result tomorrow. Meanwhile, out of curiosity I had a look at what resellers wanted and couldn't find anything for less than about $300. I like this band and I'm looking forward to their second album in a couple of weeks, but if I don't get general sale tickets tomorrow, I'm not about to pay that.
Had this issue too. They sold out in seconds. Would like to see them if I could, but not enough to battle scalpers and bots

I did get one in the general sale. Selected two tickets and two tickets weren't available. Went back and selected one ticket. Straight general admission, too. Guess I got the very last one.

Good get. Buddy of mine got 4 in presale, so I may be invited. We'll see.

The Battles observation above it right on, I was thinking they were more of a dancey variety of Load Records 2-piece era, more DFA 1979 than Lightning Bolt or Pink and Brown.

Actually I don't think DFA was on Load. Did that tshirt company sex freak have a record label?
