This new album's running time is exactly the same amount of time it takes me to drive home from my office. It sounds amazing driving through the Scottish countryside at night with this blasting away at full volume.

It's great that they came back with something so noisy. I would have expected them to return with something quite ambient but instead it's an absolute monster. Two drummers, two guitarists. Geoff Utley is still there as you can see from the videos. He's not doing the same sort of stuff now though. He's basically doing a lot of Martin Swope style effects. Lots of subtle bits and pieces that you only hear after several listens. A couple of the songs don't really do it for me but I'm going to give it some more time.

NC. Glad to have them back.

marsup, I'm with you on this one! I just heard this band for the first time the other night. what I heard was pretty awesome, and I haven't heard anything really interesting in awhile. The first thing I thought was this sounds like something out of a b-movie.

it's kind of got a spacey, lounge, jazz thing going on: it's heavy, and slow, not polished and clean, and more rock than hip-hop (kinda take or leave the scratching I guess).

what I heard had "cowboys" on it so, I'll have to pick that up, as well check out the new one when I get a chance.
