This free EP is excellent. The first thing of theirs I've enjoyed all the way through.

Anyone know what the third song is? I know I've heard it, but can't remember for the life of me. Something about being "caught in the machine"?

they polarise those with good taste and those with bad taste.

deerhoof, you are NOT CRAP.

It takes a real man to admit to having bad taste, well done.

CRAP.

Adam CR, you do not like Deerhoof, which is totally fine, in my opinion. Personally I think they're a great band, but whatever, I understand how someone can not like them.

However saying someone has bad taste for liking this band, while vigorously defending the originality of Interpol strikes me a bit odd.

Just sayin'

Jeremy,

I was making the funny. Did you read Mssr Tommydski's post that I quoted?

Just sayin',

all i have to say is: Deerhoof put on a really GREAT show! it was totally worth the $15. should've caught them sooner, but i stopped seeign bands regualraly years ago, so forigve me.

Deerhoof = Not Crap at all.

I love Deerhoof as well. My favorite record of theirs is probably the newest one, "The Runners Four," so I'd recommend starting w/ that one. After that, check out "Apple 'O" and "Milkman". Everything of theirs after "Reveille" is wonderful, and the earliest records have their moments, too.
