Finish placement there tomorrow, all I have is a sixth form lesson in which all six of the class have a crush on me (according to another teacher)...makes for a weird atmosphere in lessons.
I am now three weeks away from Qualified Teacher Status, assuming I pass my final assignment.
a shame the kids have no say.

I finally got my car fixed today after almost 3 weeks. Great to have my independence back, even if my independence is a small yellow fiat seicento with a dodgy heater.

I have heard that squirrel is pretty tasty, though I can't say I've eaten it before. It seems like it'd be a pain in the ass to skin considering the meager amount of meat retrieved from a single animal.
That recipe disturbs me, though it isn't the presence of squirrel that I find disturbing but the fact that she describes something composed of white bread, mayo, and cheese as "nutritious."
Too bad she wasn't making nutria melts. That could have been a "nutria-itious" meal.

I found the shot of the squirrel writhing in agony on the ground to be rather disturbing. Not a very clean kill, but then again that kid was only about 12 years old.
It was also creepy how the "Huntress" remarked that the skinned squirrel on the plate looked "cute".

I actually slowed to a near crawl to spare a baby rabbit earlier. What's Benny's sig again?
