And me too, thanks to that.

You are the gift that keeps on giving!

Ha!

Man, I'm sorry. I'm not a genuine psychopath, by any means. Just some dark interests.

Here's something to offset the fun:

Ow... ow... ouch...

Got a ton of stuff from the "someday I'll pick that up" category.

I admire your restraint!

Ummm, I was there week before last (Only spent $100) and was mostly happy with my puchases...except I was in some kinda fog and bought a Black Swans (?yech!!) disc thinking Oh, cool another Black Angels record....a Zappa, Beefheart, Haymarket Riot, Perez Prado. Probably most fantastic is the Rhys Chatham, Die Donnegotter...or Sebadoh III, can't decide. It WAS such an abundance peripheralish stuff otherwise...but maybe i should go back...

If you guys are into destroying your credit rating, you should move up here to Seattle, where I live minutes away from Scarecrow Video:

http://www.scarecrow.com/

Watch the paychecks reduce to ashes in mere minutes. That place is Kryptonite...

I just finished a 36 hour marathon writing session. 22 pages on Book X of Plato's Laws.

I feel like I just took the biggest shit of my life. But in a really good way.

Don't they have some sort of liquidation sale going on now? What kind of deals did they have? I can't blow 250 bucks, but I'd check it out if the sales are good.

Thanks,
Matt

After being up since a very early hour and spending a nice evening in Saltburn where reasonable quantities of Kronenberg and Fosters were imbibed I caught the last train home (fare: £3) and promptly fell asleep. I was awoken by a guard in an empty train in Darlington, quite a way past Middlesbrough. In my befuddled state I thought I knew him and said, "oh shit... what are we going to do?" He replied,
"er... well I'm going home, mate. You're probably getting a taxi..."
So I got a taxi home from Darlington (fare: £31).

i'm listening to melody makers 'this is 1998' cd. everything sounds like nowadays or, last year whenever the kaiser cheifs were popular. warm jets particularly. silver sun was cheerful. but only after one listen. any more and i'll start drinking the bar dry. rialto was moany bollocks. young offenders. what the heck? must be part of the sorry glam scene that was rife back then. lodger is next up, as i recall, i quite liked it. i'm probably about to be proven wrong...delgados, space, arab strap, cornershop, royal trux, theaudience, whistler and the supernaturals are all due a listen yet...yip..eee.

No wait, let me guess! About 20 miles? Or the equivalent in kilometers.
