PINBALL ORGY TONIGHT (AND TOMORROW NIGHT) - SOUTH ROXANA, IL - OH YEAH

http://www.riverfronttimes.com/2007-12-12/news/flipper-fanatics/ wrote:In a former woodworking shop that he bought out of foreclosure, Sanderson has created the kind of pinball playground that he and his buddies have in their homes. He collects a $10 admission with apologies and immediately points to a refrigerator that's stocked with cans of soda and Bud Light. The games, most from his own collection, are set for unlimited play.

(So apparently for $10 it's all the pinball you can stand from 6pm to Midnight and help yourself to beverages while you're at it - THIS MAN IS MY NEW HERO)

This one's 20 miles from the house, but I'm not complaining!

After visiting the Las Vegas Pinball Hall of Fame last July...

( http://www.electrical.com/phpBB2/viewto ... 141#480141 )

...I said "Damn, wish we had something like that around here..." and then when I heard about this place...

well, I think I almost found religion - SOMEONE WAS LISTENING TO MY PRAYERS!

How did you get them to take this seriously?

Every time I've brought the subject of ADD up with a doctor they've sneered at me and grumbled about it being "an American condition".

At first they perscribed Respidal and something else, I forget what was on the disability application. the concerta 27mg. is what worked.

i just secretly changed the thermostat that regulates the temp in mine, and about six other offices. one of these offices is inhabited by a total asshole who happens to have carcinoma on his head and says that if the office is too cold it makes his head cold, so he keeps the office at 75F. i lowered it to 69F and it feels better already.

he truly is an asshole. i don't feel bad at all.

Hey, I'll admit to some occasional project management, but I won't admit to Margarita Fridayz at Chachkis. I'll 100% confess to happy hour at a local dive bar with a good juke box and Jeopardy.

At one point in time, the place where I work had purchased these little 15" LCDs that communicate wirelessly with a cable tuner in the server room, for some reason or another that ended up not being necessary.

These things really come in handy when, say, the Cubs are playing the Sox, since I'm all locked away in a room with other IT nerds and I personally don't have a lot going on this afternoon.

I just found out my company accepted me to be one of the people who goes to the Olympics in Vancouver and does something.
I am not sure what I will have to do but I am getting a free hotel room.

When is the Olympics anyway?
