When the lady escorted me out the door, down a couple of steps, she remarked how she hated taking the stairs, to which I, sheepishly, replied: "Have been keeping a low profile on the work out?"

I am a doof, I know this thing.

Doof!

I actually slapped my forehead after reading this.

Am writing in my garden today (when not getting distracted by EA). I think black bamboo is one of my favourite plants.

After Ben went to sleep a few hours ago, I was looking online and randomly decided that I am going to spend my Wednesdays off of work each week figure skating, with the hope that I'll eventually regain my skills enough to be capable of coaching a few hours a week or more (since I get paid $80-120 an hour for that).

This means that I will willfully allow myself to be identified as an..an..ADULT FIGURE SKATER! Jesus fuck. Play the soundtrack to "Romeo and Juliet" and let me gently waltz jump my way into mediocrity and broken dreams.

wait what? how is that even possible? Are they charging you in advance for several lifetimes of internet use? That has to be a mistake, and I hope it gets sorted out quickly.

oh goddamn...that's terrible.

I just don't even know what to say.

Fuck, I'm gobsmacked. How the hell do they justify doing that? And how can they be so sure that they didn't make a mistake?
Life...life...I know it's got its ups and downs.
