You should have said 'She had a stroke'
That would shut him the fuck up right quick

I'm leaving for vacation in two short hours.
My best friend has arranged for us to go to a county fair tomorrow so that I might squeeze some sheep. I looked at the Fair's website and was a little miffed that I will be missing a performance by
Eddie Money at this event by just four days. The firm yet yielding fleece will get me through this hardship.
edit: wetf. Goofiest tour schedule ever. 7/2 CA 7/3 Lake Forest, IL 7/4 CA
Coke dealer doubles as booking agent.

Shouldn't you be winning the social security checks of octogenarians at the boats?

I am wearing cargo shorts for the first time in my life.
Really. I have never worn shorts casually before. Ever. Only to play basketball or do some other kind of water/sweat activity.
I feel exposed.

Seen in gold stitching on a white baseball cap today- "ELVIS PRYSLEY - THE KING OF ROCK'N ROLL"
Sometimes I want a mobile phone with a camera just for the small stupid stuff that's all around that makes us laugh.
Got into a (yet another) argument with a (yet another) neighbour about where I can or can't park the van. At this point 'neighbour' is a loose term, we have to park so damn far away. I did make her admit the only reason she wanted me to move was because she doesn't like look of the van parked outside her apartment, all the excuses about the place being private, the van was hindering the workmen that happen to be there, etc etc, I just said I'd only move if she admitted that she just didn't like the look of it. It took a few tries, but she did. Do I feel good that I got someone to admit to something they wouldn't normally? No, but at least she'll have to go and think about it. "I didn't handle that very well, did I? Even though the van is gone."
Sorry, end of that rant. To the 'post while drunk' thread!

I saw Eddie Money play at Frontier Days in Arlington Hts about 7 years ago. He's apparently played there a number of times with other
kickass rockers. Go ahead now.
Apparently this year Night Ranger is playing. Sweeeeeeeeeet.
Oh, and Itchy, while you are there, say hi to your best friend for me.

I was just ordered to be nicer to the new people at work because they say I won't talk to them. Which I won't. Why should I? They don't seem very cool. I have no time for people who are not cool. How hard is it to be cool? Not very.
I said 'I can't be nice to all of them. We need to talk compromise here. What if I pick say, two of them and be nice to them? Would that work? Because I think I can do that. ALL of them? No way. Can't do it.'
My boss just stared at me for a good minute. He said 'Ok, be nice to Nancy and Mark because it seems like they might last'
I said 'How about Nancy and the dude with the red shirt instead?'
He said 'That's Mark'
'That'll be fine'
Went back to typing, he stood there for a minute then walked away.
This job is fun sometimes.

What kind? I had a Boss looper (one of the white ones) and could just never get the feel of it.
Paid 125, pretty much brand new. I figured it out real quick. Love it. I will definitely be playing more guitar at shows from now on.
i have that same one. it does rule. though i haven't played bass in about 3weeks. call it depression, i guess.
in other news, since my bike is broke, i'm going to ride a fake bike at the gym. weee!
