Went to Tecate Mexico, made guitars shinier, got tacos at El Sabroso - whole day worth it.

Dumbass Roland Emmerich movie, Moonfall, just made me cry. All the while watching I was thinking how insipid it was and getting angrier by the moment, but then K.C. decided to sacrifice his life for the planet. He's part of the moon now.

Perhaps the worst movie I've ever seen. At least Skyfall was nicely shot. It can't be a films ending in 'fall' thing as Downfall was decent.

I was detained and almost deported on return 'home' last night. They have let me in until Monday when we need to speak further, but it's likely I'll be hoofed back out again until 'the decision is made'. This process has quickened of late but the stock response Re: how long is 'up to 15 months'. Might as well jump under a train tbf.

How are things going? From what you've been reporting here it seems like you've been out of Sweden (in England?) but are looking to re-enter?

I eventually reentered Sweden early this morning. I don't have the energy to tap away at what went on, but it took three interviews for them to realise what common sense could have told you in two minutes. Also - as always - none of this would have happened at all had I just lied.

It made their day though, having someone to bully, and I pissed them off by just playing chess on the phone whilst waiting, and not melting into a puddle of gratitude when they let me through. Fucking morons.

Thinking that those were big dumb goofy apocalypse flicks where things go KABLOOM and the science is all wrong I headed to Google to sort-out my Saturday afternoon. I'm just a simple American that likes to watch things that go bump in the night and the destruction of the planet. I was hoping for The Core-vibes where even though you were acutely aware big-name actors were chasing a paycheck they at least put some effort into it. Moonfall was just shit with talent who knows better. Still made me teary at the end though because I'm a sentimental drip who enjoys a good cry.

Border pigs are dicks! Not that it's comparable, but an old band was once banned from Canada for one year for attempting to sneak across without an entertainment license or work permit or whatever. Straight bullies. Glad things are finally working out in your favor, AMWT.

I can attest to this dickery. I was traveling to Vancouver to attend a business meeting with a colleague. I had traveled multiple times there previously, so I knew to be very careful and precise with my answers to their questions. However, I failed to give my colleague a heads-up as I didn’t realize it was his first trip across the border. Long story short, he was detained for the better part of a day because he didn’t have a work visa.

Best wishes to AMWT.

Haha, as it stands they're not. I'm still most likely to be turfed back out in the week, given their current course of action.

Got a new tattoo today. An outline of a family picture I've been wanting for a while. Pretty psyched.

What do y'all use as aftercare cream for healing? Some folks say Aquaphor, some say Aveeno, and there's also a Badger product that looks decent and all-natural. There's kinda too many choices.
