Little details from your day

Spent the weekend in The London, a village in the south.

Got followed by some men in Stoke Newington Cemetery when I was taking pictures of the graves. Seems like a 'hot spot'.

Saw Gang Gang Dance last night. Very good.

Stayed with my friend who was flat-sitting for his friend who is on holiday in Italy. Within 5 mins of being there he had locked us out. No chance of a locksmith coming out as he isn't the owner of the house. Tried climbing out of a neighbours window but the ledge looked like it was going to give. He finally snapped and kicked the door in at about 1am.

Had a get-together kind of band practise with a new thing and it was weird without a drummer but there's something good in there somewhere.

Petrol is expensive.

I live near right near stoke newington cemetery, and a fine cemetery it is!! Some locals tell me that it is indeed a "hot-spot" or as they call it, a place people go for "cottaging." such a nice over-grown, crooked cemetery though.

You can often see plastic bags etc. tied to trees next to worn paths into the graves indicating where to go for free bum sex. some friends and I were exploring one day and wondered down one of there paths to find a massive clearing littered with condon packets...

did you happen upon the big creepy abandoned burnout church in there? looks like a place where vampires would live.

I did. That's what I remember from going there a few years ago. You could get in it then. There's some amazing stuff in there - headless grave statues and weird trees growing out of the heads of angels and stuff. It was fun, when I wasn't being mistaken for someone out for some Sunday 'action'.

Had a solid weekend of music and beer soaked fun. Saw Harvey Milk at the 40 Watt on Friday after many bourbon and gingers, spent all of Saturday laying by a pool drinking wine, then saw Maserati roll out some excellent new material at the 40 Watt on Saturday night.

Wrapped it all up with some baseball watching from the couch yesterday. The Braves dropped a 1-0 game to the Blue Jays.

Great weekend.

Wait, there was action to be had on a Sunday afternoon? I thought that much like vampires, casual bumfunners came out at night!

That said, I did once have a willy shaken in my direction in a St James' Park toilet at around the same time.

Won't somebody think of the children!
Stockhausen!

I didn't actually get bummed so I can't confirm that that is what the many single men strolling around with newspapers under their arms were up to but I did get noticeably followed a couple of times so I have my suspicions.

I saw Eddie Money play at Frontier Days in Arlington Hts about 7 years ago. He's apparently played there a number of times with other kickass rockers. Go ahead now.

Apparently this year Night Ranger is playing. Sweeeeeeeeeet.

Oh, and Itchy, while you are there, say hi to your best friend for me.
