No. It is a Playstation game that people are selling for as much as $300 even though millions of copies were sold.

usually video games are thrown upon the scrap heap with the arrival of each new version. This simply indicates that it has transcended that.

And it's actually not exactly the same. It would be the same if they made reissues of that game and sold them for $40 but collectors still opted for the $300 vintage game.
