i got my electrical a few weeks ago. #98.wood, telecaster body. custom, thicker neck. it is great.

I corresponded w/ Chris a bit when I lived an hour away from Benton. I daydreamed about being his apprentice or something, or at least having him make me an aluminum body around my Kramer neck. Never did.

He seems like a reputable guy. all the research I did this week after spotting the guitar on craglist indicates that he does a bang up job.

I'm going to have my landlord cut some slides for me this week out of the miles of pipes we've stored in our basement.

yup. and the guy I bought it from was great. lived on a farm in wisconsin. he had a whole bunch of lovely wooden guitars. he had just bought an acoustic lap guitar and didn't need this one anymore. He and his wife were just tops.
