Kinda sounds a Bjork cover band - just not as good.
The vocals sound a little to affected for me.

I have a little experiment for everyone, I'll post shit I really like and you all tell me why it's bullshit and it sucks
Start with Mirah, I happen to think she's the greatest thing going...just about the greatest songwriter and musician I've ever seen or heard play....even better than Cocorosie
Listen to these songs here and tell me why I have my head up my ass, go ahead
I even made up a playlist of some of my favorites

I think your off topic a little here. From what I listened to of Mirah, she's a shitload better than cocorosie - in my opinon. At least I don't have to suffer thru that affected delivery of cocorosie.

There is not a single element of this music, the subject matter, the delivery or the personae in evidence that doesn't incite the "shit on this" impulse in me, and (as noted) I am not a regular shit-on-it guy. This is utterly phony, self-conscious, artless (though "arty") and affected. It is exactly, precisely what punk rock was trying to destroy. I am 100 percent comfortable classifying this music and everything that spawns it as my enemies.
I could not have put this better myself...

The first album was very different. It also sold very well.
It probably seemed like a shrewd business move considering how much hype they generated after the first self-released record.
