I've been jonesing for one for forever but most of the ones on Reverb are in Japan.probably a minilogue? though in mono mode you'll have twice the oscs but won't have as much control over the per-voice settings as the mono/poly has. with the mono/poly you can set octave and tuning of each osc, while the minilogue osc settings are (i assume) the same for each voice and then sets the additional voices to various sub octave divisions as you turn the voice mode knob. or... i think? it's kind of confusing since the sub octave divisions are taking place under the hood.it also does poly (w/ double the oscs, though can't set all waveforms individually), has a chord mode, arp, etc. lots of similar functionality, only with stupid tiny keys.

How about from sawtooth to sharktooth? Or is this something that would have to be done with a digital wavetable?I envision a gradual change of the cutoff angle (or the slope of the rise, in the second example). Not a stepped cycling between two or three wave shapes. The Prophet-6 does this - oscillator waveform is continuously variable and is a modulation destination. The Micromoog also does this. At medium LFO speeds it convincingly makes a single osc sound like two in unison beating against each other.

I got my mate to dig out his SH-101 at praccy and it sounds like it's gone bung, no sound oot the VCO. So I'm all like this sounds like a job for Mister Got An Oscilloscope At Home! so at some point I am going to give that mofo a rigorous probing. The circuitry looks very simple as these things go; would seem to be something you could clone pretty easily.
