So, I'm not sure if the bragging thread is the best place to go for this, it is more of a question, but should I be bragging/getting on this like a homeless man on a free doughnut? (1 I don't want)
2) Roberts 650XD model reel-to-reel tape recorder - $40
3) `70`s Shure 3 channel mixer (it`s a classic) $25
4) Alesis mmt-8 multi track midi recorder - $50
5) Alesis hr-16 drum machine - $50

Is the Roberts the one that has a tube preamp built in? I think people take the amp out and use it as a pre. If it is then $40 is a good price but you'll have to do some work.
The shure is a worth having.
The mmt-8 is useless it's just a midi sequencer.
The hr-16 is an old drum machine and has some decent sounds- check to see that all the pads and sliders work.

Someone could use that to put together a Museum of Recording Horrors.

I remember when they were new and cost more then your house.
Glad I didn't buy one back then. Or now.

116I don't know if this is worthy of "bragging" since it wasn't cheap, but...I just bought this:
The description states that it came from the Rental House Continental (?), in Chicago. Maintained consistently once a year since they have owned it. GE 7027A power tubes.
Psyched. I've always regretted selling my first one.

117I also found this today. It was at the local Music Go Round, dead mint condition, for $150:
Not the actual one I bought in the photo, but.....same item. Each column has 2x10's and 4x8's, and the whole thing stands well over 6 feet tall. It's only 100 watts solid state, so I feel like it might be inadequate if used as a P.A. with a louder band, but I think it might make an interesting guitar setup if I throw a Rat or Tubescreamer in front of it. It was actually purchased as a birthday gift for my girlfriend, who was looking for a P.A./guitar amp setup.

Here's your new guitar setup, even if you don't like the sound.
