Purging my home studio of some guitars I haven t touched in years. All were used at some point or another as my end-of-set rough-up guitar, and I ve hopefully priced them accordingly (and am entirely open to negotiation if I haven t).I ve attempted to ruthlessly photo-document every defect and demerit of each, but if you want additional pictures of something, I ll happily take them. And if, upon receipt, you adjudge your purchase to be not-as-advertised, just send it back I ll refund your money and shipping in full. I trust you, PRF (and I want to spend many more years lurking here in good stead).Univox Hi-Flier (Phase 4) ” $350 + shippingThis guitar was in rough shape when I bought it, with dings, divots, and scrapes galore. I then cracked the body at the neck pocket, and rendered the neck pickup non-functioning, at a show years ago. I had the crack professionally repaired at Tom s Guitar Repair here in Indy, but haven t played the guitar since. The neck pickup is still non-functioning, as far as I know. (Tom said he wasn t sure what the issue is, as he doesn t repair pickups, but it was working right up until the show at which I cracked the body.) I replaced the original tuners with Grovers; I ll include the originals, though the holes for the pegs have been bored out to accept the larger Grovers, so I don t think there s any reinstalling them. More pics here: https://imgur.com/a/4CBK81DIbanez Talman ” $300 + shippingCirca-1997 Ibanez Talman, with two humbuckers. Has a number of dings, divots, and scrapes (including some in the fretboard, unfortunately), but is fully functioning. Shallow crack near the neck pocket that doesn t appear, to me, to go any deeper than the finish. Has spent a good 10 years or more in a gig bag, so the chrome is starting to get a little dingy. I ll include what I believe to be the original trem arm, which I dug out after I took the pictures.More pics here: https://imgur.com/a/bEMZQ6pPeavey Raptor ” $150 + shippingBattered, but functioning, œsonic blue Peavey Raptor. Early in its life, I replaced the stock pickguard for a red tortoise-shell guard, and replaced the bridge pickup with a humbucker of unknown make and model. My recollection of this pickup was that it was extremely hot, enough to make my Roland JC-120 distort in an unpleasant way if I didn t back off the guitar s volume knob. The last time I had this guitar serviced, I was informed that, due to my abuse, this humbucker was barely hanging together ” but it worked the last time I plugged it in. There s some fairly substantial cracking on the bass side of the neck pocket; while it looks like the tip of the neck pocket is barely hanging on, the neck still feels reasonably stable. And like the Talman, it has lingered for a decade or more in a gig bag in my basement, so the chrome has started to get a little grungy. If I ever had the original trem arm, it's long gone. But I ll include what I assume to be the original bridge single-coil, long residing in my parts box. I ll also include the well-worn leather strap to which the guitar's well-worn Dunlop strap-locks mate. Buy any of the above, and I ll throw it in for free; if you want it without purchasing any of the above, maybe send me a couple bones to put toward shipping, and I ll cover the rest? (Seriously: no offer is too low to be refused.)More pics here: https://imgur.com/a/F9pAgU3****I ll ship the Univox in the same ratty, grey-carpet-covered keyboard case in which I received it, and the Ibanez and the Peavey in old, well-worn gig bags. I ll ship by your purveyor of choice. (I ll have to take the boxed item into your preferred purveyor to determine cost of shipping, but I ll try to do so speedily.)I m on PayPal, so I d prefer that avenue for payment. But I m flexible. œPM me, as they say.
