Great way to start. I just can't say they're crap, because dammit I like it when limeys wallop the blues, and because dammit, they rocked and wrote great songs.
I couldn't agree more. Usually I like "source" music, but when it comes to blues, I like what the Brits did to the genre more than the original works.

Hip or not hip, I have a hard time understanding how anyone hates Led Zeppelin. Obviously it's fine, but i don't get it.
Sure, classic rock stations, Stairway (which I could care less if I ever hear again), the 'wizard' element, and other things make it hard sometimes, but when I hear a song like Achille's Last Stand or In The Light, I'm just floored by the heaviness of it all.
I think I like them more now than when I was a kid.
