It is true that Springsteen wrote it. He also recorded a version. It was a good version. It was a rock and roll song with no chopsticks. It was much better than the Manfred Mann version, but they don't play it on the radio. You can hear it on "Greetings from Asbury Park, N.J." which is supposedly not a great album, but I like listening to it anyway.

I think the band's songs are a boring wankfest which end right where they begin...somewhere in Robert Plant's stool, which Jimmy Page rubs all over his hands before they do anything.

I'm curious how you would define 'not sucking shit 'within the confines of being a rock band. Get back to me on that .
