Well, we're a year later. Not sure what to say other than prices are still high. Went to box music store last week for 12AX7s and they did not have any, but the "everything out of stock" a year ago situation for the most part seem to have abated.

The out of stock situation certainly abated. I did a check through my amp quoting notes and checked the range of September 2020 to January 2022 for what I was paying at the time. I dont have everything, but the notes I have hint at some things. A lot of stuff is a lot more expensive but JJs are comparable. If they went up in price its fully within reason given inflation:

Tung-Sol 12AX7 was $14.95, now $27.90 ... (JJ version now $13.95)

JJ 6L6GC (quad) was $83.60, now $95.60

Mullard EL34 (pair) was $48.90, now $81.10 ... (JJ version now $38.90)

TAD EL84 (pair) was $31.90, now $45.38 ... (JJ version now $29.80)

JJ KT88 (pair) was $81.00, now $96.90

JJ 6V6 (pair) was $30.40, now $39.80
