Yes! My thoughts exactly. They could have cut 40-50% and it wouldn't have lost anything.

Disagree. It takes time for something to become a sacred cow. Many overrated things may turn up in the meantime. One can never know.

Heh, I saw all three films at the cinema when they came out. Towards the end of the third one, the voiceover says something like "And so the fellowship of the ring draws to an end....".

Someone in the audience yelled out "Thank fuck!" : )

As a tradesperson, renovator and frequent boat tower, I cannot live without one.

Underrated.

Not quite honest either, afterwards didn't he go back and add ANOTHER hour onto each movie and then make two more prequel movies? Last movie of his that I remember enjoying was Heavenly Creatures.

No, no, you need to look at the other drivers rating them. Your work is why they exist. Pickup truck as grocery getter, office commuter, alpha status symbol etc. that's where they've been overrated.

Salut that fella.

Yeah I watched the first two at the cinema but by the third one my butt just couldn't face the 3 hour numbing.

I like the first one a lot, and don't mind the others, but the very concept of the 'extended' versions was deranged.
