My boss stood infront of me holding a firearm today.
Someone thought he could send rifles and crossbows through DHL if they were subtly labelled "sporting goods".

A troubled-looking white guy holding a large clear plastic bag filled with an equal mix of green and red grapes just came into the Media Department of the library where I work. I helped him track down a copy of Lionel Ritchie's "The Definitive Collection" CD.

Having worked in public libraries, I just smiled, nodded, and said a little "Yep" to myself as I read this little detail of Tom Stack!'s day.

If you were to still engage in this activity, would you happen to accompany it with the singsong "Mama had a baby and it's -snap- head popped off."
Not that I would revel in such a thing...anymore. nope.

You see, we didn't really have much in the way of dandelions in Florida. They're everywhere up here and she's fascinated. I walked in from work yesterday and she was sitting in the middle of my bed with a huge pile of stems and a huge pile of heads watching the Muppet Movie.

[Still at work in the library's Media Department]
I just helped a large black woman find a couple of videos on Mahalia Jackson. As the transaction completed, she asked if there was anyone in my family that was sick and in need of prayer. I answered to the negative and she then asked if I have recently been experiencing any problems with my left leg. I again answered no. She seemed very surprised by my responses. She blessed me as she walked away. Just for good measure I guess.

Around here it was "miss polly had a dolly and her head popped off".
