I've lost so many points from transfers that it's been hard to keep any kind of pace. Hopefully my performance will stabilise now I have a reasonable squad. I've reluctantly let go of Van Persie and brought in Tevez until the end of November. I'm not convinced of his quality as a player but this week's fixtures essentially forced my hand.

Still, if there was points for symmetry I'd be in for a big win this week -

Leeds are on Sky Sports 1 tomorrow at 7:45pm against Hereford in the FA Cup. Might be a giggle if we play the reserves again.

Salut! Mr Dski, you are top of the league tonight!
(Although if I hadn't left Matty Etherington sitting on the bench like a DICK it would be a different story.)

See, there's obviously something to be said for having a symmetrical team!

Ah well, nice to be back at the top of the league for a night. First time since Week 2-3. John Hirst will be the league leader tomorrow I think. We both have Fabregas as our captain but he also has Gallas, whereas I have Adebayor. I think there's more chance of Arsenal keeping a clean sheet at home than there is of Adebayor scoring. Still, it's a funny old game. It will keep things tight up there, which is how we like it.

I enjoyed a 74 point haul in the EAFFL this week - second only for the week to world beater Tommy! Still, I'm steadily rising, like Tottenham Hotspur or a well-baked loaf of bread. Mark my words, I'll be in the top three by Christmas!

What do people make of this? I can't really get my head round it...

He went to bed about a decade ago, or whenever he sold his soul to the bankers and the elites.

Nope! Goddamn that late Reading consolation goal.

That week couldn't have gone any better for me frankly. It's going to be hard with Fabregas suspended until November 25th. Feels like I owe most of my success this season to his points. Now I know how Arsene Wenger feels!

That MyFootballClub site were talking about buying teams in the Championship and League One earlier this year. No offence to the new owners of Ebbsfleet United but I can't help but feel this isn't quite the coup they made it out to be. Still, if they can make it into the football leagues it will be an impressive feat.

Given that it sounds like Ebbsfleet are going to be making a lot of team decisions "democratically" on-line, I think they are in for a tough time.

Imagine if the PRF had 20,000 active users, all of whom had paid good money to have a say - then imagine trying to get a happy consensus on one issue, then stretch that out over all the decisions to be made in a season. Oooof, I'm already worn out just thinking about it.

For all the aggro here about 9/11, Slint, the veloutes on Gibson necks and so on, I think it will all look like a walk in the park compared to 20,000 footie fans. (Presumably also 20,000 fans who all support different teams.

"Of course you'd say that - you United fans are all the same" etc

EDIT: I'm not suggesting that all 20,000 of them have their own team to support. That'd be stupid.
