1112Ah, Jeff Senn--that explains it! I'll have to check these out. Thank you!four_oclocker_2.2 wrote: Tue Mar 03, 2026 10:44 amLooks like it's this guy - https://reverb.com/item/3879928Maurice wrote: Tue Mar 03, 2026 8:53 am
What's the story on the Good Bridge on this one? I'm getting some sag on my rosewood-bridge-on-metal-plate retrofit bridge.
What's odd is that there was a time where Danelectro was building new guitars with 6 individually-adjustable saddles and you could easily find those to retrofit to a vintage one, but I'm not seeing them anymore. Weird!
The original bridge on my 2008-era Dano did have individually intonatable saddles, though the bridge plate itself sagged dramatically under string pressure, which may be the reason those are hard to find now. The replacement (from some dude on Reverb) has lasted longer, but still does bend a bit. I'm thinking of an alternative that would (I hope) resist sagging, and offer better height and intonation adjustments, and this one promises both: I see that it fits flat to the body, rather than being anchored by the rear screw and having the height adjustment via the other two. That's encouraging.
Re: Gear: TALK ME OUT OF IT or JUSTIFY MY PURCHASE?
1113FM 4:00er nailed it, that is in fact the make and model of Good Bridge that I replaced my sagging 6 individually-adjustable saddle bridge with. Maurice, if you'd like, I'm happy to pass along the sagging 6 individually-adjustable saddle bridge I no longer need, but be forewarned, the middle 2 saddles are already out of height adjustment (resulting from the attempt at keeping a playable action/string radius in spite of the Pringle-esque bridge).four_oclocker_2.2 wrote: Tue Mar 03, 2026 10:44 amLooks like it's this guy - https://reverb.com/item/3879928Maurice wrote: Tue Mar 03, 2026 8:53 am

you can almost see said "Pringling" here:

Oh I misread yr post and didn't realize you'd already replaced your own "Aughts Dano Reissue Authentic Pot Metal Sagging Bridge" with the metal + rosewood jawn. The "Tele saddles on thicker plate without a gap between the bridge & body" definitely gives me enough intonation/height adjustability. If I were a big palm-mute guy I'd probably find or make some shorter grub screws for the outside saddles, but that's a hypothetical issue for me at the moment. And for what it's worth, it looks like Jeff Senn hasn't raised the price since I got my bridge in 2022.
