Gutted for you, mate. I would have loved to see Scotland go through. It's a cruel irony that the Scots, who fought a tenacious and honorable battle for the length of the campaign, haven't qualified, whereas the English, who have been largely dismal, look like* they're going to. Them's the breaks, but they sure ain't fair.

Steady on Simmo, Leeds are still only fourth - but things are looking good. The momentum is there with the results, the form, the crowds, everything. Only two points off the top of the table - if not for the fifteen point penalty, Leeds would be thirteen clear.

That said, I overheard a conversation today which concluded that Tresor Kandol is not good enough. That's Tresor Kandol, who has scored eight goals this season. I think some people need to remember that great though this season is, this is still only Division Three.

The freekick that Italy scored their winner from on Saturday was an absolute joke.
