Even though I know you have an aversion to calling the police, has your friend reported this? Even though I could completely understand the desire to beat to a pulp and Bobbitize the guy, this is something best handled by the police, especially since your friend knows at least the guys first name and the general area where he lives. I would also bet someone from Tai's knows the guy, if he hangs out there with any regularity.

I sincerely hope your friend is ok.

that sucks about your friend, marsupialized. i hope she is ok and the guy is caught.

Rode my bike to work for the first time in a couple months. It's a rolling five miles though Alameda, industrial Oakland, and downtown Oakland. I forgot how fun that can be. However, the always having to ride home kinda sucks.

That said, if I rode to work every day's I'd save probably $80/month in gas.

I work in a university video lab. Don't people realize that I do not do well with deadlines??

This girl brought in 6 VHS tapes, 120 mins each, and needed me to "edit out the boring bits" and make a super awesome dvd for her times 30, all in 2 days. I said "no way sister" and went back to reading the forum. But then I had to do it anyway, and I worked really hard on it, and she was disappointed that it was pretty bare bones.

I have worked in university video labs for almost 4 years. The name of the game is low pay and no deadlines and low production value. Someone write her a memo.

yesterday evening i was walking down a rock seawall and i dropped my cell phone down in between the rocks; it is irretrievable.

i have a summer cold. anyone see that episode of "metalocalypse?"
