De nada!

I fell asleep shortly thereafter and missed Lindor's inside-the-park homerun.

MLB TV states this by the way:

Spanish Audio Sync
Spanish-language audio overlay option for every available regular season game on supported connected devices. Available only on Xbox, Roku, and Apple devices.

https://www.mlb.com/live-stream-games/h ... e-features

I just checked the last game of last year's world series in the archive, and you can overlay Spanish radio play-by-play audio on the video stream (streaming in Firefox on a 2020 MacBook Pro). I believe many teams with traditonally larger Latinx fanbases also have that option for live games during the season, but I mostly watch the Brewers and Mariners – I didn't believe they had that option too, though maybe the above means they actually do. Will have to check again when the regular season starts.

I have found over the past three or four years that the only moderately healthy thing that works to get my mind off of things, helps me shed outside and mental noise for a bit, at least aside from time in nature and making music, is baseball. The MLB subscription price is not too bad if you use it as heavily as I do.

So much immigration bullshit to contend with, and still need to potentially account for six weeks outside of Schengen from mid-June. Every hope for the year is so easily dashed by not being able to assure potential partners of where in the world you're allowed to be on given dates. Plus it's fucking murder to be away from the dog, poor old thing.

Is there still a stolen gear/BOLO thread? I searched and it sent me to the archive.

I tried to ship a one-of-a-kind Nick Greer pedal back to him for a switch repair and it has vanished. The pedal was a prototype boost called the Gold Bar. I've used it on every record I've made since he handed it to me a few years ago. I shipped it in the original box. If you see a Greer Gold Bar for sale ANYWHERE, there's only one and it's mine and it was stolen.

Please let me know.

I'm kinda upset about it. I really liked that pedal.

I don't think there's a master thread anymore, only thing I could find was this post from Randall when Russian Circles got their gear stolen in October 2021:

My mother, sister, brother in law, two nephews, cousin, and his wife all have COVID.

Two years ago, I would have been freaking out, particularly about my mom, who is 73 and doesn’t have the best set of lungs. She already seems to be getting better, though.

Thank heavens.

Working outside away from people for the most part does sound pretty damn great.

It’ll be for the Western Travis County Parks- Pace Bend, Reimer’s Ranch, and Hippie Hollow. That last one will be…interesting.

hah, yeah.. that place has been pointed out to me (thankfully) from a distance!

The hill country has been sounding appealing to me lately, probably because it's 'only' 40 degrees and people here are happy about it. Fuck that: this isn't spring..
