Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream
Radiohead - OK Computer
TV On The Radio - The new one that leaked and they're going to call it something stupid about Cookie Mountain or whatever the fuck but it's entirely made up of huge red and black angry fuzz guitars and I totally had an orgasm when I heard it also David Bowie sings on one song
Funkadelic - Maggot Brain
Eddie Hazel is like the god of guitars. Holy shit.
Gang of Four - Entertainment!

I love the majority of the records mentioned on this thread, very weird to see so many fave records in one place (US Maple, Mahavishnu, Yank Crime, Rusty, Tarrrrrrrrrr, woo hoo!)
Peripatetic was particularly OTM.
And someone even mentioned Black Sea, wow, good call.
However. How did this thread get to page seven without mentioning . . . pony express record?

I can think of some favorite guitar tunes, but not records:
Bluesbreakers cover of Freddie King's "Hideaway".
Mike Bloomfield covering Albert King's tune "Don't Throw Your Love on Me So Strong".
Most AC/DC.
oh shit I give up.......there're too many.

David Grubbs guitar sound in Bastro.
Steven Fellows guitar work on first few Comsat Angels albums.
Halvorson/Parker guitar sound and attack on the Gordons (NZ) first few albums.
PJ Harvey on Dry and Rid of Me.
Randy Bewley, from Pylon on the album Chain (especially the songs B-Complex and This-That). I like all Randy's playing on the earlier albums, but it's well documented on these two songs.

I was stumped, but these are pretty damn good.
I had a Santo and Johnny album when I was a kid that was primo guitar and steel.
