Carnivale had potential but sort of failed me toward the end, plus I don't think it holds up for multiple viewings. I think that M*A*S*H is overrated, but perhaps I've just seen every episode one too many times for it to be poignant or interesting to me.

I would be very happy to share a couch with you. I was going to post that it was a tossup between Nova and Frontline. I like all the other shows you mention a lot. Currently burning thru Dead Like Me.

Am I the only one who thought that Arrested Development just sucked? I tried to give it a chance. The humor was just so obviously random and just plain not funny... like one long Geico commercial. Anyone who tells me how funny that show was..I try to get a good look at them to actually see in they are human. I'm glad it got canceled so that Cross can get back to some actual comedy.

my votes go to the obvious:
Faulty Towers
B & B
Some Simpsons
Twilight Zone
Young Ones
M*A*S*H
Parts of Taxi with AK
Honeymooners
Twin Peaks

I haven't seen the Wire or anything current in a while. I thought the Sopranos was boring.

Agreed. I can't believe this didn't show up until page 3.

Watching season 4 now on DVD. So fucking good.

I couldn't beleive it either. Now someone did mention there's little reason to read the rest of the thread. The Wire was the correct answer.
