This is shit I scribbled down at school today, all completely untested:The Arizona Quince 1 oz Quince liqueur1 1/2 oz gin1/2 oz grapefruit juice1/4 oz lemon juiceFucking brilliant name. Maybe sub Mezcal for gin? It is Arizona after all, and smoke and apples work pretty well together.Ever see Moonstruck? That film needs a cocktail created for it....Mezcal is a good call. I'm a London boy so I just automatically go for gin with citrus. I'll have a go with Mezcal.Gotta watch Moonstruck.

The owners where I work wanted another rye cocktail, and a "winter" one, on the menu, so I subbed rye for Cognac and date for fig. Since the drinks are related I called it The Frenz Experiment, plus I do my best to name as many cocktails I can after The Fall. It's selling pretty good. *Date simple: 2 cups sugar, 3 cups water, 25 medjool dates. Bring to simmer, mash the dates with a potato masher, let cool and refrigerate overnight, heat up again and fine strain.Justin Foley wrote:Mott and Mulberry1 part rye (or bourbon in a pinch)1 part Amaro (worth getting a bottle, it's good stuff)3/4 part apple cider (fresh)1/4 part lemon juice1/4 part real maple syrupSounds good. Which amaro?

This is rather imprecise but trust me, it's hard to fuck it up. Adjust amounts to your taste:--3 or 4 ice cubes--3 oz or so of your favorite pétillant naturel wine--2 oz or so Mauro Vergano Americano (if you're not familiar w/this wondrous before-dinner drink, please do some research)--a splash of soda water, sparkling water, or mineral water--a little orange zestPlace ice in a highball or white wine glass, about 1/4 full. Pour in the pét nat. Pour in the Vergano Americano. Add the soda water. Stir gently. Garnish w/orange zest. Light, relatively low in alcohol. Sour, sweet, bitter heaven.

Jameson and Pancakes ... a shot of Jameson, topped with a little bit of Butterscotch Schnapps, and chased with a tiny bit of orange juice... leaves a taste of a pancake breakfast in your mouth, and super smooth... however, that's a shot technically' not a cocktail, so I am sincerely disappointed if I disappoint you
