a hagstrom futurama (red w. a white scratchplate) from '62. It's lovely, i had to put a new bridge in it. and I lost the bloody tremelo arm off it about 9 months after i bought it. But I've had that since 1999 and it's my favourite.

a squier telecaster that Chris Summerlin flogged me, it has the jack where the tone pot should be so it's just the one pot.

in the past 6 years i've had a futurama (selmer one), a sunn mustang, a rick' 330, a dearmond jetstar, a 335 copy, and i've borrowed a bunch of different guitars off people too, and the hag' and the tele are my favourites. If I was going to get one more, i'd like something with two HBs.. I guess a les paul with a bigbsy.. or pricewise.. one of the dearmond versions of that.

bass wise I have a squier musicmaster. I used to use my bro's fender musicmaster which i loved, but i actually think the squier plays just as nicely I had them both set up by the same chap (who also sold chris his see thru copy), which had alot to do with it i think. I used to play a full scale length thunderbird copy, but i much prefer the short ones!

Jeege,

I gots a Epi Sheraton 2... a wee nip different than the casino. But i am an Epi advocate... nice guitars.

Oh and a 2000 Fender Jazzmaster custom shop re-ish with the original good fer nuthin' Jazzmaster bridge replaced with a blasphemous Gibson SG Bridge...

Its all set up right as far as intonation and such, but with that bridge on there it has slightly annoying habit of the high E popping out the nut on more prolonged abuse...

Thanks Matt,

I'm gonna order it today!

BTW: If you had just let me set up you JM you wouldn't have any of those bridge problems. That gibson bridge causes more problems than it fixes. The radius is different, the width is different and the saddles don't float to compensate for string bending or tremolo use... The JM and Jag bridges "rock" for this reason.

I've never had a lick of trouble out of my Jazzmaster bridge since I set it up properly (most techs are un-educated when it come to these "floating" bridge/trem designs)

And unfortunately, for some people, they were never designed to use strings lighter than 11s. I have quite a bit of experience with these bridges... The Bass VI also uses the same bridge and trem as the Jaguar/Jazzmaster.

Have you moved yet? I can set it up for you this weekend maybe... I'll be in town. Hopefully whomever installed that bridge didn't hack up the guitar beyond repair :(

My old band, Nine Miles High, played on the same bill as the Levellers at the Wickerman festival in 2004. We got very drunk after we played and then challenged the Levellers to a game of 5 a-side football. They won.

After that, a fight nearly broke out between us and them.

It was a great day.
