Back to the Future II already featured a dystopian 2015 where a character loosely based on Donald Trump had become a despotic town mayor with disastrous results. They had to rewrite the whole goddamn future in order to prevent it from happening, and that was just one town.I'm sure the 2016 election results would have had Doc Brown jumping into his DeLorean faster than you could say "great Scott!".We have to stop him from coming down that elevator and telling everyone that Mexicans are rapists Marty! They talked about the danger of all this becoming normalised but actually I think he's done a great job of keeping it fresh so far. I certainly haven't felt like I have been running low on outrage myself.In fact when he started cuddling the American flag just now I wanted to jump up and kick my fucking TV in.
